Bought not built!
Just came back for a quick stroll around Kincora/Evanston.
My TSX + All seasons aren't really working out for me.
Time to get winters
It's awesome out there!
For those with a decent setup
And looks like the season of people who drive slow with their hazards on is back. I still don't understand that.
Oh man I almost forgot about those fools who put their hazards on for no reason.Originally posted by BlackArcher101

Can people who leave earlier during the day post here and let us know how the roads are, i.e. how slippery and all that. As I stated before I have appointment at TI for some cf wrapping tomo morning. I want to see if I should be taking the Z out for it or not. Can only do it if the roads aren't too bad.
Well like I posted above, my TSX was already bad enough in all seasons lol.Originally posted by shakalaka

And it's gonna get worse later on in the night.

haha, great. My 240 is in the shop right now on summers. I'm gonna have fun driving that home...
for the record its been in the shop for over 2 weeks now so it's not my fault I don't have winters on :P
It's really not THAT bad driving around with summers on. Just do everything slow and keep a long following distance. Most of the time I find it's other drivers that are the problem in winter.
just got home from work. roads are okay still fresh snow would take it easy if you got all seasons. but if you got awd with winter its normal driving lol
Seriously? Driving with summers (not all-seasons) in the winter? I don't think it's a good idea at all.Originally posted by Benny

Not saying it's a good idea at all haha. And I don't wanna get into a debate about the merits of winter tires. Just saying that it's not the end of the world if you have to drive on summers.Originally posted by dkmlam

Could be, when you smash that semi head on.

Lol i went out for half an hour in the middle of the night trying to find some snow banks to attack but was able to breeze through everything.
Just got to work maybe 10 minutes later then normal. It wasn't too bad. First bus got stuck but did manage to get out later and we did a cat and mouse thing down Center Street. Our bus had to pull over a couple of times to reset the compressor (I think?). Pretty slick on the side roads, but main roads should be pretty clear by now from the traffic.
I've been here since about 5:45. It's pretty damn slippery under the snow. It's going to be a shit show all day long people, that's all there is to it.

Think the highways are decent? I have to go to Edmonton like... right now.
Just drove around a bit in the Northwest - Its pretty icy out there on the side roads so drive carefully!
