iOS 4.2
Just got both my iPad and iPhone updated, the free Find My Phone (or Pad) is a nice feature, seeing as I lost an iPad this summer during my travels. Finally, the iPad has multitasking, I can actually use MSN on the damn thing now haha.
Kinda sucks the new AirPlay feature doesn't work on the old Apple TV. Go figure, forcing me to upgrade to one without a HDD, kinda sucks.
Anyone else install it yet?

Just updating my laptop first..... looking forward to the free locate my iphone. All they have to do is add google voice in Canada and wifi hotspot for teathering and I wont ever consider JB'ing again.

next to the find my phone feature, is there anything special about 4.2 for iphone? If it's mostly for that feature, I'll probably hold off. It's a pain re-jailbreaking it and reinstalling everything. I doubt I'd ever use the airplay feature.

Why do I have air play on my phone and I never updated it? I have iPhone 4 and apple tv2 running 4.1

It's in MobileMe settings, even if you don't have it, I think.

WUT? haha the iPad is completely different. Multitasking (well Apple's version of it), folders, tons of shit. It's finally caught up to the iPhone 4.
Using a MSN client on there is actually usable now.

Typing this from my iPad now.. The 4.2 is great on the iPad. The multitasking and air play are sweet. Find my phone works great. Good update so far.
I like watching YouTube and some videos on my big screen with apple tv streaming from iPad. Works great.

Going to wait for JB as well. Way too many of my fav features still missing from the updates and nothing too great for the iphone update anyway.

Cool, just updated my iPhone 4 as well. For the Find my iPhone app on MobileMe does it need to be set to Push to work or can it work with manual?
