    Default xbox's in cold weather?

anyone know if its okay for an xbox 360 to chill in a car tomorrow for like 8 hours?

serious question, I need to bring it to a friends house and don't feel like lugging it into the school...

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

It will be fine as long as you don't turn it on till its been in the house for a few hours.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Going to put them in a sleeping bag just in case they get cold

^^what? the sleeping bag isn't going to keep the xbox from getting cold, unless you put a heat source in the bag with it.

    and...

Check the storage specs on the unit.

Some PCBs dont like being exposed to very cold temperatures and can, potentially, cause enough contraction of parts to create a discontinuity along a conductive path.

Okay genius... Why don't you walk around with a t shirt on in winter, it's not like the winter coat will keep you warm

Lol you're not serious are you?

Go put a winter coat in your car tonight, and tell me how warm it is in the morning.

Sleeping bags don't magically supply heat

a sleeping bag is an insulator, the reason you stay warm is your body heat gets trapped thus warming the inside of the bag up...

like someone else said, go leave your coat or a sleeping bag in your car overnight and tell us how stiflingly hot it is the next morning!!

put some of those heat packs, you put in your socks and mits in with the xbox;s in the sleeping bag. then the bag will be of use.

That's the type of logic that is going to be the end of the planet. People like that get put in charge of things quite often.

..go walk around with shirtless, and tell me having a jack.. it's the same as a blanket on your xbo...did he seriously?
