    those new seasonal events make it so easy to get money/experience. I grinded for quite a while to get enough experience and money to get the FGT. Then those new unrestricted seasonel events came out and you could win 2 races and walk away with 3 million in a few minutes. I sorta wish they made them abit more challenging.

    I think they already goofed by making the distance between higher levels so bloody high, and the price of some of the cars just completely out of whack to the level of rewards given.

    If you have 0 credits, to grind the american championship indy race (one of the highest credits per minute) enough to hit 4.9 million for the formula GT would take 3.5 hours. 3.5 hours of terrible, boring gameplay. Nevermind the 12 and 20 million dollar cars that I would like to own 1 of, but are virtually impossible to purchase without the extra help of the seasonals.

    I think the seasonals are still a challenge if you don't tune the cars first, so I guess that's always an option if you're looking to make them harder. I hear you though on not having to use self-restraint to make things challenging. One of the first things I do is tune the car so I can race it against friends online.

    It would have been nice if there were some high payout races that were manageable, but challenging, instead of making everything easily winnable (through overtuning) and having super low payouts.

    I agree on some of your points...I think the real solution though would be to have WAY more races in the game, particularly between level 30 and level 40, to make it actually possible to get to level 40 without doing the same race 50 times...

    and make better restrictions on the races to make them actually challenging, but make the pay out higher, so you are rewarded for the extra effort.

    My poor X1 has over 20'000 miles on it now, and rises daily, and I'm still only A-Spec level 32

    It took me a while to grind enough for the f1 because the gameplay was so incredibly boring. I was only able to grind maybe 5 to 10 races max before taking a break. Also, it's alot easier to get the money than the experience needed for the F1 i found.

    Are you grinding the american championship indy race? Or is there a better race to grind past 30?

    the dream car challenge indy race is more experience per minute, american challenge is more money...but I am playing the endurance races over and over just because I can't stand the fuckin oval...lol

    Have you done any engine rebuilds or chassis maintenance on your X1? If not, have you noticed any dips in performance? I'm guessing for that car each service is 500,000 Cr.

    it's still bloody fast even 100hp down....
    but yes, I've done engine overhaul a few times now, and chassis maintenance once...

    I just did the grand valley endurance this afternoon in an hour and fifteen minutes...pretty good for the experience...

    fawk...so it would appear that after 6 years of service, my PS3 has decided to kick the bucket
    the CD Reader isn't working properly...sometimes I can get it to start up, but it usually crashes during the opening...even if I can get it in to the game it will hang up when I finish a race...
    well, I really wanted a slim...lol...

    Anyone got settings/assists tips for the Vettel Challenge?
    Tried the first one and was 9seconds off Bronze using everything off and ABS=1.

    I might just grind to level 35 to get the X2010 instead.

    I'm really having some difficulties with my ZR1 on Laguna Seca for the American Championship. What car/tuning settings did you guys use for that race?

    I used my Viper ACR and won in A-spec pretty easily. My B-Spec boys need some grinding though.

    Those challenges are intentionally hard. It took me probably a few hundred tries to get monza. Its all about timing with those.

    Just tried Vettel Challenge last night with the Red Bull X2010....damn its tough. I'm being lazy now so running the PS3 24/7 to get to level 35 for that car.

    Are there any difference in the Red Bull X2010 you win in the challenge and the one you get at level 35?

    if you get all bronze you get the same one you get for getting level 35, if you get all silver it's a random color, if you get all gold it's the prototype color (black with a silver bull)

    I'm in the same boat as you, going to let my B-Spec guy (F.Alonso) win it for me. Too bad I'm at Level 22 on B-Spec and it already seems like my PS3 has been on way too long for these boring B-Spec races.

    I'm using the DS3 and it seems it's too slow to go from full-lock left to full-lock right with the X1. Anyone beat the challenge with the DS3 or is this a wheel challenge only?
