I don't understand your drawing.....
Did she not have her blinker on?
hmm
I see two lanes.
If she was going down a two lane in the 'inner lane' (left lane) and 'turning right', this is not an option, only changing lanes to the right is an option.

I'm going to find each and every one of your little internet friends!
I now feel like I went into shock. I started breathing heavily and lost my sense of what was going on.
Never in my life have I heard of the person that was rear-ended as being at fault!!! Get a lawyer asap

Looks solid yellow to me which is most likely why it was decided 75% fault.Originally posted by G-ZUS

Its not illegal to turn left on a solid yellow when entering a driveway AFAIK but it could have effected the liability.

Sorry, a little off topic question:
If I get rear ended and I know for a fact I'm clearly not at fault, do I still have to provide insurance information to him? I mean, he has no reason to need it, right? 'cus I'd be the one who'd be claiming against his insurance; not him.
Well, you'll each get a copy of the police report and it will have both your insurance information on it anyways... Also withholding information just seems suspicious to insurance companies and police.Originally posted by 5t3v3

OP: Is it your moms insurance company who is saying 75% liable? Which insurance company are you with and which insurance company is the other guy with?
Some insurance companies don't follow tort and that can fuck with liability big time.

She's already exhibiting signs of turning into my Mom, I need some sort of legal recourse if a full-blown transformation occurs.
