straight blade shave in downtown calgary

anyone know a good place to go to for one of these hot shaves with the blade?

looking for either in the core or around downtown

any suggestions??

I am not sure about Calgary, but feel it has probably suffered as Edmonton has with the strict health codes and extra permits and licensing required, not a single shop offers it anymore up here.

Figaros on 2nd st and 5th ave does it. Right beside the bell store.

Ive seen the service on several salons/spa's 'available services menu'. But its usually in the ballpark of $100 for a shave.

Id really like to get it done too, but not for $100.

I think the barber shop in Gulf Canada Square does straight blade shaves.

Alberta Barbershop on 14th street does a straight blade shave. Not sure if its the type your looking for though cause they only charge 10 as opposed to 100 so im assuming a hot shave is different.

There's an old school barber shop right beside Belgo. Last I recall it was about $10 for a hot towel straight blade.
