Two temp jobs come to mind.
Worst, delivering drywall with Shoemaker Drywall. Spend all day lifting two sheets of fourteen foot drywall. Fuck my hands hurt after that. Did it for one shift, and ran. Boss man said nobody lasts more than two days.
Best, worked the night shift in a fertilizer factory. it sounds bad, but putting shit in bags is pretty low stress, and the guys there were all decent, and I got a bit of a workout too. Did that for a couple months after university instead of getting my "real" job.
Now I'm an engineer, and it's both the best and worst job, depending on the day. Some days i wish i was back working with manure . . .
