Default Recommend a Good PDR shop in Calgary

Is PDR something where a good technician is worth their weight in gold? My insurance company recommends Confident PDR but does anyone have good experiences with other repair shops?

Finally, is there a general rule of thumb of cash settlement over repair? I have the option of 5k or PDR but it's not obvious if one choice is better than another.

If you are planning on getting the damage fixed, just let your insurance handle it. Don't take the cash and try to get it done yourself. It's not worth the hassle.

I actually need some PDR work done, nothing to do with
Insurance though. Tomco, you around, or still arguing with that curber in the other thread?

Avoid Dent Clinic on 32nd at all costs. Messed up more than they fixed on my car and denied it all.

Did you lose as much confidence in them as I'm losing in your 2 year old bump? Details man, details.

Just a bump if anyone has any suggestions. I have about 5-8 lumps on the FR-S (damn thin aluminum panels) that I'd like to get fixed without using insurance.

Is the going rate about 50-75 per dent?
That's not sweat. It's your fat, crying.

Had a nasty dent in the hood of my CTS (crap fell off a shelf in the garage)
The dent had a crease in it, I figured no way it'll ever be perfect.
Went to Canadian Dent near the Deerfoot Casino.

It's like it never happened. Friggin black magic.

My car is booked in at ConfiDent PDR this Wednesday. Pretty good timing seeing I was just in for appraisal on Friday and my car was damaged my hail two weeks ago. I will let you guys know how it works out, so far so good.
