In fact the Slingshot is essentially a re-packaged smart roadster - its actually less muscular than the Crossfire by a long shot, but becuase its super light, it will still take off like a rocket. The low sticker price also sets it far apart from the Crossfire which retails around 47K (the slingshot at the very most would be 30K given the current exchange rates assuming it gets the same price tag as the smart roadster).

Looks like Dodge is taking aim at GM's Pontiac Solstice. As for the Rescue, I doubt that much of that look will show up if they put it into production. But the concept is pretty sweet.

The front of the Slingshot doesn't look anything like a 350z and the rest doesn't look like the RX-8 either. just like how it's not actually cold outside, it is just you

If you are saying it rips from the 350Z and RX-8 design, I'd say you're arguing a pretty weak argument. In fact, if the front resmbles anything, I would say it looks like a porsche with square headlights. The side and rear look similar to an SLK 320 IMO. And there is a definite resemblance to the Crossfire's "boat tail" rear.
