G will get MB's new 3.5L TT
M will get the 63.
Wonder why Nissan won't apply their own 3.5L TT from GT-R to the Infiniti line of products.

They can buy MB Engines cheaper than they can produce a GT-R engine for each infiniti they sell, as the GT-R engines are all hand-made.

So is the 63.Originally posted by bituerbo

Nissan has fallen behind in engine developement. They have been coasting this decade on 90's developed engines. VQ's in it's 3rd decade now. They do have some new small engines but it looks like nothing new in their larger cars for a while.
The last few Nissans I've driven have felt quite unrefined in comparison to some of the offerings from Toyota, Mitsubishi... even Subaru (GASP). After all the drama my GF's car has given us I doubt I'd seriously consider a small Nissan unless they made some significant changes.
I thought that MB was discontinuing production on the 6.2, to be placing it wi the new 5.5 turbo? Unless they're keeping the tooling going just for the Infinitis.
The 6.2 will be around for a while.
The SLS isn't going TT anytime soon.

Definitely end of life, has a propensity to generate so much heat in the 370z that an aftermarket oil cooler is a must for any sort of spirited driving.Originally posted by heavyD

I have an ML63 and as much as I love the power Mileage Sucks. I can see nissan drivers not enjoying the gas prices.
People who generally buy Nissan's are not going to enjoy filling up there 6.3L V8.
