Default Google Nexus....S? Yes there is a new Google phone

Seems Google likes playing with my emotions and is set to release a new Nexus phone (the nexus1 was the best phone I ever owned hands down).

Based on Gingerbread 2.3 the phone is partnered with Samsung this time around for a 4" curved (yes curved) glass panel and a 1ghz Hummingbird processor.

Early reviews are saying this phone is the fastest phone (mflops) on the market by a large margin. Additionally they claim hardware errors made in the Galaxy S are not present in this phone.

Seems the samsung phones are having some issues. Makes me kind of wish they kept it going with HTC. They generally release pretty bullet proof phones, from my experience anyways.

    I would agree.

Samsung has always made cheap plastic phones. If this phone was HTC it would be a no brainer for me but now I'm going to have to wait for some reviews.

I wonder if they switch to Samsung because they are willing to support the users instead of Google doing the support themselves which basically the worse experience of the last Nexus experiment.

That really did seem to be the only downfall of their last experiment. I still don't see why they didn't make an agreement with htc for support on the last phone.

    Wow, I definitely like it.

When will it be available for us Canadians? Dec. 16, 2010?

Only if you are going to use it on WIND. Otherwise you have to wait for an AT&T compatible one to use on Rogers/Telus/Bell.
