99-036 Itr Rebuild and Restore

Hey guys just thought i would start a rebuild thread as i know how much i enjoy reading other peoples threads and learning from them. Anyways i plan on bringing the car back to as close to mint as possible and have decided i am jdm fronting it and maybe throwing a few mugen goodies on it. We got all the front end of today and plan on pulling the rad tomorrow. On a side you guys no of any good websites i can get oem parts? I need a new windshield cowel and wipers and i am sure there will be more stuff as well.

Well i guess it all depends on what you consider ricing it out. I plan to do mostly oem parts and the jdm front just because my front is toast. If the front was matching numbers no i wouldn't mess with it but it is toast and i prefer the looks of the jdm front end. The only aftermarket stuff i will be doing will be mugen, spon, skunk2 and maybe some volks if its in the budget otherwise jdm 16's

yes they are, actually i only have the passengers seat. I have a set of red recaros on hold with another beyond member i should be picking up soon.

Alright guys i think i have finished striping out the car. I can now start the fun part of putting it back together . I decided to take the rear bumper of today as it had a crack in it, and i did not want to paint a bumper to have the crack come threw in a few months. So if any 1 has a good condition 98+ bumper for sale..shot me a pm. I also got the rear seats and all the old plastic trim out of the car. I will be replacing my seats with a mint set i traded my buddy for and ordering all new rear skins. i also picked up a jdm front today of a fellow beyonder .

Here you guys go some more updates. With the help of some other friends we got the ac system completely ripped out . Scared the shit out of us as we thought the system was empty, it definitely wasn't. Its a good thing that stuff isn't deadly anymore. We also got the old rad support of and the jdm one welded on and got everything lined up.
