yeah i saw this on kotaku, im not much into the magic fantasy stuff but this game is basically RDR+Mount&Blade+ Magic the Card game?

the levels look huge in the old ones + the Havok engine looks good as it does in Uncharted 2 and FO3

edit i guess thats the physics engine and the main one is called Creation Engine, those guys at Bethesda know wtf they're doing.

Bought it for the PC on Steam, pretty fun. The controls are completely catered towards the Xbox controller though. Looks pretty good but feels like a Bethesda engine forsure.

So Thursday night at 10PM I started to play... I am at 28hours played.....

SO much fun though.


I am a Redguard 1h/shield with max 1h perks and blocking perks. Combat is slow as this build but it is suppppper fun.

BTW, this game is 8square miles in size. Roughly 120 dungeons and 4x the content as Oblivion.

Yeah fun game for sure, I rolled a High Elf mage. Only got a few hours into it, but it seems like a great game so far. Xbox 360 controller support is wicked too, works perfect, didn't even have to set anything up.

I started as a nord. Hoping they fix the xbox texture install soon as this thing makes mine sound like a jet engine.

I hated Oblivion but I am really enjoying this. Not normally my type of game but its great so far. Playing PS3 version.

like i said im not a fantasy genre gamer at all. but wow.is this game awesome, the expanse of the areas you can travel. thouroughly impressed at what bethesda has.done in.this game. really good graphics on the pc version too

It definitely feels different from Oblivion in that it actually poses a challenge, for one :P Also, they used more than 3 voice actors for Skyrim, so that's different too... so far, there's been enough diversity to make it interesting, but there needs to be some more exploration and general tomfoolery before I can pass a full verdict on yea/nay for the game.
