You know those bored stay at home moms who's entire lives revolve around driving their kids to soccer, various cleaning accessories, and worrying about neighbourhood rapists? The kind of people that watch the View and go "uh huh..." Those unfulfilled people who try to fill the void in their empty lives by writing whiny letters to the editor complaining about shit that no one really cares about?
Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
anyone know how hard is it to get boxing day pricing early at visions? I dont wanna line up at 3am to buy a fucking TV. But the deal is pretty damn good.
I'm waiting to see who has the best deal on the Canon Powershot G12. So far it looks like Vistek.
If anyone knows of a better deal or advice on the camera that would be great.
Is it really worth it anymore when almost everyone has online sales? Last three years I've done all my boxing day shopping while sitting in front of the Christmas tree in pajamas while drinking Crown 'n Coke.Originally posted by Team_Mclaren

This year it will be a small TV for the kitchen. 22" LCD for $199. And maybe a new 15.6" laptop for $349.
Ive never done this before, but i plan on lining up the night before (after all christmas festivities).Originally posted by Team_Mclaren

*Not at visions, but theres a few stores in calgary with SICK deals.
i remember working at sears, and we would just pricematch it before boxing day. say i buy the tv for $700 today, id just come in boxing day with my receipt and get the discounted price ($490) so i'd just get the difference
exactly. But the trouble is that some items are brought in for boxing day and that day only in limited quantities.Originally posted by dandia89

A couple years ago I was the guy on the intercom at sears and handing out free shit. People go nuts on boxing day for anything and everything because of the perceived value.
So far I've seen the Toshiba 55 inch 120 Hz tv go for just under $1000 at a couple places....anywhere seen a 60 inch tv for under $1000 yet?
Also, who's going to Axe Music or Long and McQuade...I wondering if they're gonna have deals for Pioneer CDJ/DJM road cases....
Man, what a sweet deal at Visions!
Check out this flyer clip.
I didn't see a model#, so I went today to check out which one it was, thinking it would probably be the IHT6000, as it retails for $500US, or more probably the IHT3000, as that the model pictured.
Nyyyyyope.
I get there, and it's a discontinued, REFURBISHED, model called "onestep" (so the model was indeed in the flyer, I just didn't think that was what it was called)
I look online for any reviews, and on the AVS forums, someone saw it at Sams Club in the US, in october for $100 brand new

Boxing Day sales are for those who simply want to get out of the house. Work a little harder and/or smarter next year, make more money and buy what you want and not what you are offered.
If you have cash in hand, a sale comes in time without the stupid line-ups and aggro of Boxing Day.
