looking for koenigsegg video from gumball 3000

looking for videos from the koenigsegg during the last gumball when someone reached it's top speed of 242mph

i know it exists because i've seen a link for it some time ago but it wasnt working

Its such a mans car, hard gearbox, hard clutch, it was made to rip... I love the Top Gear Episode for it...

you can "drive" it in Project Gotham Racing 2... unbelievable

rumour has it that the guy who was driving it at the Gumball rally blew an oil pan gasket... and the only replacement was on a car in a showroom somewhere... so he bought the car for the gasket

about the gasket i heard a diff story (read it somewhere)

apparently he for got to put the feul cap back on the car after filling her up (has to be a mans car is it's a she!!).
he rang a friend looking for a new one and was told it would take days for a new one to arrive with the post and told him that vw beetles have the same one.
at a vw dealer there where none, only one the cars, dealer wouldn't let him take the cap of a beetle so he bought the whole car!!!
took the cap of and trew the keys back at the dealer!!!

not sure how true it is but i well believe it, if he can afford a car like that a beetle would be nothing

I would believe the oil gasket before a gas cap story... Gas caps arent quite as important... that just IMO

If you draft it behind the enzo on that long track, cant remember the name right now, neuberuger or something like that, lol...anyways me and my friend tried top speed runs with it, and i drafted him, he was in enzo, and i think we hit 248mph or something like that, i know its not real, but for the game it was unreal, 1-4 is mad fast, then u hit 5th gear and it slowly pulls faster and faster, it went like 195mph in 5th or something.

I heard it was the OIL cap but the VW part was true. Heard the story during the beginning of the race. I saw two Koenigsegg's in person when the Gumball came through Tucson. I actually showed a few cars a shortcut to the Interstate and drove with them for ~70 miles. There was a cool purple/maroon/something color one and a silver one. Totally kick ass cars! My freind got to sit in the 'other' colored one, think he's got some pics somewhere...

I've got my own video of some of the Gumball in my town but no vid of the Koenigsegg =( I do have some in town footage of the F50 and many other cars. Also an "interview" with the owners of the blue Aero 8 that ends with him hauling ass out of the rest stop. Gotta love the sound of the Bimmer engine in that thing.
