I've stayed at Irwins and Red Carpet but I'm curious if there are other recommended resonably-priced places that are closer to the main area? Ones with hot-tubs (inside or out).

The caribou inn is pretty good.

Cariboo was OK in the summer, good rate, quiet, old school TV.... who stays in anyway. I liked the price.

wow, none of the above are even close to the "main" area of banff... the ptarmigan inn is pretty much my drunkin walking limit. plus its cheap and they have balconies on the inside! haha... and a hot tub
