ctr strut bar on 96-00 cx

I am just wondering i am looking at buying a CTR strut bar for a 1996-2000 civic. But the model is the cx which has the intake manifold pointing upwards, I am just wondering if this will work seeing how the bar comes straight across

It will work.. With the stock intake box And may also work with a aftermarket intake pipe

really beacuse on the ej8 squad they say that it wont work. unless i swap manifolds.

I remember testing a 99-00 SiR one on my 96 cx with the factory airbox and it seemed to have zero issues with clearance.

Not sure if the CTR is any different but can't imagine that it is.
