First Non-club DJ Gig...help with rentals / setting up?

I'm DJing at a banquet in a couple of weeks and this is the first time that I have to set up / rent the equipment myself (I've only DJed at a club where everything is set up on CDJ-1000s and I bring my CDs, and at home I just run my mixer through my home theatre amp which is connected to the speakers).
Can anyone give me some tips/advice from past experiences, or point me to some good resources on this topic? Thanks for the help

Long and McQuade rents everything you need, not sure if they are cheapest but they definitely know what they're doing...

i use house of bounce for DJ equiptment, very good prices and for my bigger showss where i need set ups they do those as well
