personally i would put one of his in, and get your current one rebuilt, they are cheap.

:S I dont know autovalue wanted 179 for one plus a 30 dollar core..

part soruce wanted 170 + a 10 dollar core..

is rebuilding them cheap? is there a place that does it? I can pull mine and leave my car sitting for a day or so.

I personally would recommend Alberta Alternator and Starter Depot, they are on Barlow in the SE.

Probably cost you around 100$ depending on how bad it is. They give a good warranty too.
