Default Any shop that can work with CF or Fibreglass?

I took delivery of a CF lip but it has a section cracked along the sharp edge of the lip due to shipping.

I'll probably send it back but curious if there are any shop in town that can work with CF and fibreglass since it could be fixed with a bit of strong glue and a little resin.

any boat shop should be able to direct you to a repair place.

I'd seriously just pick up some epoxy resin 2 part from a place like Industrial Paint & Supply and go at it. ie. sand down the crack a bit and then brush it on.. sand it down low to high grit, etc.

Screaming Paintworks has dealt with my carbon pieces before (a dash and a wing)

However, if the crack is into the carbon I think you're screwed in terms of visuals - i.e., you can repair it, but the pattern will always be damaged?

If UPS denies the insurance then I'll have to fix it myself, it can be done, just need some epoxy and clearcoat.

Good luck w/ that one! UPS punched a hole THROUGH a radiator with a forklift and blamed it on me saying insufficient packaging. WTF - am I supposed to ship it in a metal box to protect against forklift damage?
