IMDB.com is the best for figuring out what's worth watching (anything 8/10 and higher). I got totally newbed looking at Roger's Video online choices, where I swear people vote 5/5 for only really bad movies.

    Good ones I recently downloaded:
    Red
    Kick-Ass
    True Grit
    The Social Network
    Machete

    Do not see:
Salt (worst movie of 2010 for anyone with an IQ over 40 IMO)
    Let Me In

I hope they serve beer in Hell!!!! Love that one.
Also, Running Scared - although an oldie - is still one of my faves.

    -Black Swan
    -The Fighter
    -True Grit (new one)

Black Swan was actually enjoyable... and I don't mean only for the lesbo scene... though I'm not complaining about that since both those chicks are in my top 5 (2 words: mouth wipe).

Also I wouldnt say he has terrible taste in movies, a lot of the movies he posted are "fun" movies which are enjoyable, whereas a lot of the movies you posted were made to win awards.

The one with Paul Walker. I really enjoy the original as well, but I have to agree Paul did a good job with the re-make.

Black Swan is Darren Aronofsky... so, despite the whole ballet context, it was bound to be good.

I'd say he has terrible taste in movies if those are the best he could come up with.
