EDIT: Can anyone tell me if this is the stuff I should buy? Seems like a good price, and I don't think I can handle drinking the straight oil:

Today marks the end of my 3 week trial of this diet. It's interesting to see how rapidly things changed at first, and then plateau'd near the end.

    Start weight: 226 lbs
    End weight: 209 lbs

    Start BF%: 17.5
    End BF%: 11.6 (WOW)

    Squats before: 285 lbs 5x5
    Squats now: 265 lbs 5x5

    Deads before: 185 lbs 5x5
    Deads now: 215 lbs 5x5
*** still easing my way back into deads

    Tricep pushdown before: 176 lbs
Tricep pushdown now: 204 lbs (WTF)

    Chins before: BW 5x6
    Chins now: BW + 25 lbs 4x5

Dumbbell press before: 55 lbs 3x8
Dumbbell press now: 65 lbs 3x8

It's interesting because in 3 weeks I definitely didn't get "shredded", but you can definitely see my abs and I'm down a full 3" in my waist. I didn't notice any adverse effects either with the exception of slightly decreased cardio capability.

I think I'll incorporate this diet for two weeks every couple of months just to maintain my leanness, and I'll definitely give it a full 6 week cycle (3 weeks on, one week off, etc.) so I can get down to like 9-10% BF.

It has been a pretty positive experience overall.
    Good work man!

This might be the next thing to try to maintain and even drop a little more fat. Should put you under 10% by summer for sure

Good work guys. Discipline is key isn't it. I feel gross the other night. In about 45 minutes I inhaled the box (minus 4 cookies) of girl guide cookies. So this morning I had couple pieces of roast pork and then celery and cucumber for breakfast. Gotta get my nutrition plan in check.

You guys are doing really good. It makes me want to get off my butt to do something.

Anyone know of any affordable gyms in the NE?
There is the Golds Gym at Northgate, but it's a bit pricey.

Week 3, mid section is finally getting leaner, everything else has, and as mentioned before the spare tire would be last, Im very happy with the results so far. Had a bad craving for chips last night, had a entire head of broccoli and I was left semi satisfied

So after watching the guys on here do it in awe, I've finally started on this thing. Here is my plan for today. It'll essentially look similar with minor changes for the rest of the 3-4 weeks (depending on results). I'm also cutting out alcohol (replacing it with weed, LOL) for the duration of the diet. Partially as a calorie restriction, partially to see if I can even keep away for that long...

    Starting:
    6'1
    90kg or 198lbs
    Category II

    EDIT, Measurements (inches):

    Neck: 16.14
    Chest: 42.91
    Waist: 38.19
    Hips: 41.93

    Meal 1:
    Instant Oatmeal
    Fish Oil Capsule
    Multivitamin

    Meal 2:
    Ocean's Tuna can
    2 medium pickles

    Meal 3:
180g Chicken Breast BBQd with delicious dry rub
250g Steamed Broccoli (If I can't finish at lunch will snack on it all afternoon)

    Meal 4:
200g Eye of Round Steak BBQd
    15 stalks of Asparagus
    Fish Oil Capsule

Do you guys see anything that I've missed? According to Fitday calculations this should be about:

    1084 Calories
    30g Fat
    53g Carbs
    155g Protein

What have you been doing for the one time per week carb refill?

Someone correct me if Im wrong, the pickle contains quite a bit of sodium and vinegar, as well the rub on the chicken? Ive been eating everything plain jane using onion, garlic and other natural ingredients

Like Darkane said, you don't have to avoid sodium.

Foods don't have to taste terrible

Down 7 pounds in week 1. 208 down to 201

And that's with drinking a lot more water then I was previously. Energy levels have dropped a little, but not too bad. Grumpy as fuck haha. Not sure if these results are typical or what, but my eating habits were TERRIBLE before.

Had some chinese food (kept portions reasonable) last night for my first cheat meal in 7 days

Day 13 of the diet. Sooooo sick of chicken and broccoli for lunch. Read that garlic finger thread and now I'm craving pizza really bad. Booze cravings aren't too terrible, but I would love to get fucked up just one night... lol

I've lost about 3kg or 6.6 lbs, and feel quite a bit healthier. Skied for 7 hours on saturday and didn't pass out.

I find that my bedtime has moved up quite a bit because I'm too tired to function after 10pm. Gotta learn to make a healthy salad for tomorrow, broccoli is reeally wearing down on the psyche.

So I'm not the only one feeling the bed time situation. I find myself dead tired at around 9pm. I fell asleep on the couch last night at like 9:15.

Down 6 lbs in a week as well. Pretty good stuff yo.

I was just going to post the same thing..... I've been in bed by 10pm more time in the last 2 weeks then the last 2 years haha. Energy levels are definitely down at certain times of the day.

Dropped another 3 lbs this past week.
