Definitely got it for myself. As soon as I knew my second child was healthy I booked myself in. It's a rather painless procedure and worth it to know you're shooting blanks.

Wifie had to have some of her internal lady bits removed for health reasons in her mid 30's, and I am a one woman man, so I never had to consider the snip thankfully... Easy procedure or not, I am happy to remain intact!

On the note of going to Crouse as a "private" patient (pun intended but not)

AHS covers the cost of the actual vasectomy...you pay for no waiting list and a specialist doctor instead of getting a standard urologist who is fine with doing the job but not dedicated to it

A family member of ours booked his with AHS, waited 8 weeks for an appointment and came home black and blue, out of action for like 4 days

I booked 2 weeks out with Crouse and after a bunch of tylenol (which he gives you, along with some ice packs and your req/ sample container for the cum check) I was basically back to normal the next day

Didn't feel a thing, easier than a prostate exam

We laughed at how easy parenting was while we were pregnant with our 3rd. Boy were we fucking wrong and humbled lol. Took 7 or 8 years before it started getting easy.

It was brief though. He was only feeling around because of the scar tissue and because I'm some sort of mutant. (incase of a 4th vas). I'm no doctor, but I'm guessing it was him just being thorough.

Recovery was nothing also. Bit of icing the next day but otherwise good.
