Calgary is so much like an iphone: iCalgary - There's a bylaw for that.
Wow, that looks delicious.
The only thing I can think of that comes close to that is the pepperoni cheese stick they have at the Stampede in Weadickville (Weston Bakery).
This looks like it beats it though
Auntie Anne's is the best jalapeno pretzel dog...we had them in Seattle and can't wait to go back. We bought the dough mix to bring home, but only ended up making the pretzels. Auntie Anne's in Canada...not the same.
Auntie Anne's usually the first i get when i land in the states!
best pretzels i've ever had (or maybe its cause we don't have alot of them in canda...)
still have the buy 10 get one free cards
For sure, every time I go to Vegas I have to get one - So good. Never had the jalapeno hot dog though, that looks amazing.

I went as far as learning how they twist their pretzels to make them the same...even with the mix they are better than anything you get here. mmmm so yummy.
Usually in the malls I think... I know there's one in the Miracle Mile shops at PH.Originally posted by Kobe

There's one at the Excaliber Hotel food court and D terminal at the airport. I tried to get one at the airport but the guy gave me a WTF? kind of look on his face and said they didn't make them there even though they clearly had pretzel dogs as well as a few plain jalapeno pretzels in the display case. I was running tight for time for my flight so I just shrugged him off and kept walking...... I guess that's why he gets paid minimum wage.
Off to the grocery store right now to buy some soft pretzel mix and weiners.....

I think i had it at premium outlets bak in 2007. Pretty Good
Whenever I have to travel to the US and there is a lay over, I always go through Denver because as soon as you get off the United flight, there is an Auntie Anne's right there. It's become an addiction lol
Id remove the jalapenos and throw some pickles on there...
What kind of birdhouse can you build with popsicles, roofies, and a rubber mallet?

If you were straight I'd eat you like a BLT sandwich with extra Bacon. And I fucking LOVE bacon.
It'll get there with a bit of practice.....

^^AWESOME! what kind of pretzel dough did you use? What temp and how long did you cook for?
Can you do a writeup on your recipe/technique?
Dam I just searched for Canadian locations and there only in Ontario.
I just came back form California and I love their pretzels.

I forgot to post the dough recipe up :

To wrap the dogs, I rolled pieces of dough into long "ropes" and then wrapped the wieners by rolling them in the dough rope like you would wrap tape on a hockey stick. Dip in the baking powder solution mentioned in the recipe, sprinkle the salt on top, top with lots of cheese and finish off with some jalapenos peppers.
