Default Talisman Centre workout facilities disappoint

I just moved back here yesterday. I went to hit the Talisman Centre and the first thing I noticed is the rows upon rows of machines, bikes, and treadmills. It's a joke. The place was better when it was under contruction.

I want to be able to use a stability ball, medicine ball, a foam mat, and dumbells to do my super sets of roll outs, med ball tosses, renegade rows, and hip presses etc.

Every bloody inch of that gym is full of machines. The only free space is their "health and well being" room for yoga (profile room). Which would be perfect for having a dynamic workout.

The best part is I spoke with one of there "trainers" who said the machines make the workouts easier and better.

Is there a good gym DT, maybe one with space and experieced trainers?

Is maybe one of the leisure centres a better facility?

Thanks guys, I'm hard up here. I need a gym.

bad trainer... but good business man haha. Don't want your clients getting fit or anything because then you'd be out of a job.

More like injury prevention. I dont know anyone that would continue to pay unless they got results??? People need to see results almost every two weeks or they lose motivation and stop paying your $60 per session.

Some trainers really suck tho, this one guy at my gym told me he trains "functional strength" then I saw his client doing bicep curls on a balance ball

The lighting is much improved. Still the best place to go for badminton action though.
