Default raw codec for 64 bit systems

hey guys, so I'm trying to upload some of the first shots I've taken with my new D90 but I'm having a hard time finding a 64 bit codec that doesnt want me to pay 15 bucks, only one i could find from nikon was a 32 bit.

    any suggestions?
    thanks

I'm pretty sure you already ran into Fast Picture Viewer Codec Pack.

    That's what I use.

Yeah, it's $15 until Nikon release their own 64bit version.

But all you get is able to preview under Windows Explorer. I'm sure you can use are photo viewers to replace explorer.

You need a codec to view pictures taken on a Nikon camera?
Can't you just put the memory card in a card reader and view them just like anything else?

    http://mansurovs.com/free-nikon-raw-...a-or-windows-7

The CNET link on that page goes to the older, free version. It should work with your D90 files.

I use Fast Stone Image Viewer for culling my raw photos, and it's free. I don't know if it works in 64 bit or not but it's really fast in 32 bit. It can browse and show a thumbnail of all your NEFs. Lots of cool features like side by side comparison and 1 click 100% view to quickly check sharpness.
