Default Benefits for those who don't get any at work?

What are the options. I am getting full benefits at my one job, but if I could work my other job full time instead I would triple my salary, but wouldn't get benefits...

Soooo...Let's have em. Is bluecross the only option out there?

Is there any other way to have benefits, pay into plans?

This is the only thing in the way of me making a pretty easy choice hehe.

The thread title threw me off a bit.

If I'm not getting any at work, then what's the point of coming in? - no pun intended...

That's what I first thought too.

Blue Cross is what I use (small business owner)

    BHAHAHA classy, Tomaz.

I use Alberta Blue Cross with the $63/mth Plan C(?) and I've only had to use it for dentalwork (knock on wood).

Very good; cheaper than the other places I called (Sunlife, Manulife) in comparison to the benefits I get.

I've always heard Blue Cross is one of the more expensive options...

I used to be with Blue Cross, have recently switched to Manulife. I get better coverage for the things I want with Manulife, I found Blue Cross would do some strange things to make them look better than the plan actually was:

For instance I discovered that Chiropractic and Acupuncture were covered but massage therapy was not. Not a big deal but still seems odd when Manulife just sets a cap on all "para-medical" services regardless of type.

I have a family plan through Blue Cross and its very expensive...

    About 660 every 3 months...

Hopefully it will pay off when the kids need braces or something....

I should definitely look at other options...
