Default racial profiling on the c-train

    So lets be honest,

Who here decides on which train to board by examining the mix of race on the train?

Sometimes it can be deceiving, as I live in the south and quite a few immigrant-esque people board the train also.

It's only funny if you're not profiling against his kind.

If I rode the train i would sit beside anyone. Except for the homeless people, but that isn't racial profiling....They just smell like piss...

from what i know. its not so much racial profiling imo its moreso age profiling from the horror stories i hear from my gf on the way home, when all the HS shits get on at whatever stop, i remember when i took the train in HS not so long ago, i had the courtesy to at least shove my backpack into a corner or put it at my feet.

she comes home with stories of 'today, this chick had her backpack on her back on the crowded 4pm train and was doing 360s talking to her friends hitting all the other riders and wasn't holding onto a pole or wall... So, i shoved her so hard right when the train started accelerating so she wouldnt know it was me, you know, like in shawshank redemption when andy hit the pipes during thunder' or triumphant banding togethers of downtown office folk yelling at kids to GTFO the way when the doors open on a packed car ridiculars soooo happy i haven't had to take public transit since 2003.

on a side note the new generation of 17-18 y/os are a definite generation of me-firsters (you know, the world owes me everything for nothing), we must put them in their place!

um, last i checked the trains only came by the stations 1 at a time.

so what your telling me is, you'll actually not get on a train and wait for the next one if theres too many people of the wrong race on it?

    thats fucked.

    hahaha, racist to the max.

I don't take transit, but when I did I hopped on whatever would get me to where I was going the fastest.

It's true. You don't even need to look at the front of the train for the route name.

Trains with minorities and blue collar workers are heading northeast, and trains with professionally dressed people are going south.

The Somerset line boarders the southeast, so you still get the trashy folks hopping on/off going to the SE.

I mean when you get to the platform, and the train has already arrived.

One time I ran for a train and jumped on to realize it was a train heading to the NE by looking at the folks on it. Got off at the next stop and waited for my South train.
It's sad to say, but it's the truth.

The train heading south is not the greatest either becuase you have the natives on there who are bombed out of their brains as well, but the mixture is more middle class.
Add to that, all the HS / junior high kids, I've actually wanted to thank them for my decision to delay having kids.

Now I don't take the train

I don't mind different races on the C-Train just as long as those damn 9-irons stay of my lawn.

I don't see this as racist, more observation. If a certain type of people continuously piss me off then I'll disassociate myself from those people. Easy.

It's like if every day you walk by a bunch of dogs and one certain breed constantly bites your ass. Would you get onto a crowded train full of them? Hell no. Observational analysis.

my point was: if you don't know the trains direction, do you use race as choosing which way the trains going.

Not that one-train has "bad people" onboard.

Oh, your question was extremely unclear but this is Beyond.
No, I've never heard of that before. Not until you just brought it up.

    Thats a fairly stupid statement...

I'm sure the people in Bonavista, Parkland, Mckenzie & others are quite trashy to you....

When I used to take the C-Train, I always profiled based on age and weight. I'd never sit next to teens as they are annoying as shit. Also, sitting next to fat people is just asking for trouble.

When it comes to choosing seat based on race, I typically like to sit next to the hot white or asian chick.
