It's easier to bring prices up than down haha. If people are still willing to pay, prices won't exponentially decrease.
There might be blips here and there but say goodbye to $0.55/L

I got a cash back credit card and now only fill up Husky and use my CAA card as well.
I have to put in 94 octane and figure I may as well get a few pennies back each time.
My tank could technically last me a month if all I do is drive to and from the bus station and don't go anywhere on the weekend, but typically 20 days between fill ups.
That chart shows a change at 8k, 16k, 32k, 48k, 64k, 80k, 96k, every 16k except the first two, so add 1 more oil change to my price, still well below the number you quoted at $427.Originally posted by codetrap
First.. apples to oranges.. second, I sold that car over a year ago now lol.

Also, apples to oranges? Mine was an 05, apparently yours was an 06, both were BEW engines so the comparison is valid. The dealerships were telling everybody to change oil at 8k, but there is no reason for it, even the manual cites 16k as the correct interval after the engine is fully broken in.

Now I am not an economist but he makes some good points as to why it wont be more expensive.
Did he predict this depression?

Oil is ridiculously cheap. Gasoline is cheap in the US, about right in Canada, and expensive in Europe. Natural gas is ridiculously cheap in North America and about right in Russia.
