I guess I tend to nurse it to speed, mind you.... so if I drove it naturally without restraining the skinny pedal for fuel economy's sake, I'd probably get right on par with epa. Which is really good considering the bigger tires, roof rack, and lights up top. I'm guessing trips on the Deerfoot and Beddington also help when traffic is open. So many variables.

    Not sure what your highway stats are like, but my overall mileage is not a lot of different than yours considering I have 2 extra cylinders, and a bit more drag on my roof. (I'm now running a gas can up there too in light of my recent fuel sender issues)

    I have yet to take it on a nice highway trip without a full cargo load. I'm guessing I'll be around the 15L/100km on purely highway. I think mine will need a tune up soon as well.

    Glad you're seeing better mileage since the plugs and fuel filter.

    i have an infiniti qx4 from 2003. i roll around in 2wd all the time unless its really really slushy and icy out with that oatmeal type of snow. I get about 3 trips to hockey, couple to my parents, one or two to the in-laws, and about 4 food runs a week. Costs me $30-40 bucks. Hope that helps with your calculations!

    in town: 17-18L/km, winters. I like to give her a good workout.

    for those that are saying 300km/ tank or whatever... tank size varies from vehicle to vehicle.

    I can get 9L/100km on the highway. With city driving that goes to 17L/100km. My average is showing 13.7L/100km right now

    2008 though

    My mileage has just been completely hideous lately. My running combined average for the last almost two years is 17.71L/100km. The last mostly highway trip I took was from Swift Current to Medicine Hat and back, and I averaged over 19L/100km during that trip. I changed the oil, air filter and fuel filter after that and my last tank was down to 17.19L/100km. Hopefully running summer fuel again will get some mileage back.

    Thankfully I don't drive this truck much (35,000km in almost 3 years). It's a 2010 GMC crew cab diesel with a 7" lift, 35" tires and weighs probably 7500lbs, give or take a couple hundred. I certainly don't want to tow with it. I took my quad to Prince Albert twice last year. In six tanks I got 23.22, 25.00, 22.88, 23.80, 22.67 and 23.24L/100km. I either need to regear it for the tires or get rid of the lift if I'm going to spend any more time pulling a trailer.

    2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD, 6speed manual, 6.6L Duramax.

    I get 9L-10/100km on the highway and 12-17/100km in the city depending on how I drive it.

    Gets nearly the same fuel economy if I'm the only one in it, or if all 6 seatbelts are in use and there is 1500lbs in the box.

    Lie-o-meter on the F350 says 20L/100km, tons of receipts but never bother to hand calculate it. Will do some tonight and get a real report. 6.4L Powerstroke, unloaded but always driven hard once warm, modified of course.

    For Boosted131;
    My 03 Silverado 5.3, same thing too busy to calculate it but I got 600km from a tank for roughly $120 to fill so you can kind of figure it out and that was never really driving on a full tanks super easy, I drove that one pretty hard most of the time, winter roughly 500-550km a tank in 4x4 when not on major roads.

    I get about 22MPG on the highway in my 6.0L F350. Havent really bothered to notice here in town the last month or two.

    I have a boost leak somewhere so its been affecting performance somewhat.

    I get anywhere between 12-14L/100KM on my 2002 Infiniti QX4. That's with it in 2WD 90% of the time. City and highway combined.
