1992 4runner, 4cyl 22RE = as bad if not worse.

2004 Chevy Silverado 5.3, 4x4 average about 13-14 mpg.
That's 75% deerfoot/stoney trail and the rest is city. Was throwing a code for O2 sensors and cats...replaced O2 sensor but cats must be plugged. Should see some better mileage with those gone soon.
My Outlander AWD gets 12-15L/100km depending on how cold it is...
It can't climb rocks though. Sacrifices.
2006 Toyota Tacoma V6 auto.
I've got a ScanGaugeII OBD2 reader in my truck, and I keep fairly close eye on my mileage. Lately, I've been getting
13.2L/ 100km city
11.0L/ 100km highway
I drive really conservatively, to try and keep my numbers where they are. I'm fairly pleased with the results. They are fairly close to what Toyota advertised for my truck when I bought it, and I've got 5 years in it now, and still getting good numbers. Can't complain too much.
This thread is slightly depressing, I was thinking maybe a Ford Escape with the 4 cylinder would be the best 4x4 for fuel economy.
My Jeep GC 5.9L gets about 19.6l/100km which is a mix of city and highway.
I like cars.
New rims are heavier I'm averaging 15-17 all the time now.Originally posted by Cos
Not exactly like yours but:
Highway - 11-12 L/100km
City - 15 L/100km
City (winter) - 18-20 L/100km
Winter is bad in the city because it warms up, harder getting going from lights, more sitting, more slow and 4x4. Highway is the same city or winter. Mileage with 35's. With 31's was about 2 L/100km less across the board. When i drove to Waterton when I first got it I got 8.9 L/100km!
This is using a GPS accurate ODO and full fillups everytime.

Thanks for the 14 years of LOLs. Govern yourselves accordingly and avoid uppercut reactions!
4.3 v6 quarter ton Sonoma - Making approximately 400 kilometers on 58 liters of fuel. So basically 15L/100km in the city, slightly better on the highway.
Live fast, Die young - But make sure you look good doing it, aye?
I had one of these for work, put on 220km a day and it would get about 600k for 70 literOriginally posted by SecondReversal

2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
3.8L V6 from a grand caravan, albeit with a 6sp stickshift
Getting 12L/100km mixed city and highway, I'm actually feeling a lot better about that number after reading this thread!

i wish... only time i get that in the city is the day after i get back from a road trip
EDIT: ...or you dont have 32" mudders
Actually, I have the exact 32" BFGoodrich Mud terrains on mine that your rubi came from the factory with. Is yours a 6spd? Or maybe you run alot with the top down? I found my mileage drops drastically when i do that...Originally posted by ercchry

Granted, my daily commute is crowchild from crowfoot to MRU and back, and never during rush hour traffic.
year round mine sits close to 14L/100km
but yeah no rush hour is the reason since idling at 0km/h KILL the mileage reading and i sit in an hour of it everyday, unless i go away for the weekend the jeep doesnt move too much as i opt to use the infiniti for running around
About 10.5-11L/100kms all city, 09 Forester 4 spd auto
I was starting to hate the mileage that the WRX gets (10-12L/100km's) but this thread puts it in perspective.
My Legacy GT has averaged 12.77L/100km over the 11000km ive owned it.
Sounds about right, the company 2009 legacy wagon gets 9.6L/100km
thats not the turbo however....
