    Spoiler:
I think all will die except maybe Sansa and Arya. Doesn't matter who kills who, because...

...we shouldn't forget about the one person whom I think is most important:

    Spoiler:
Bran. The reason why I think so is because there has to be a reason why the end of Season 4 and most of Season 6 was so focused on him, the Three-Eyed Raven and the ancient lore of the First Men/Children of the forest, which hasn't been addressed nor concluded in season 7 or 8. He knows the past and present and told no one about Cersei's plans nor about the foreshadowing of Danaerys' mad turn, or Euron's fleet etc. because he's just sitting back while the humans finish each other off. Because Bran is no longer 'Bran', I think it will go full circle to what started the song of Ice and Fire in the first place. The Three-Eyed Raven helped aid all the humans in defeating the Night King but let all these other shitty things happen, so that they would be no more hierarchy, houses, or 'modern' civilization with the burning of King's Landing.

With the Night King gone, and most of the humans/royalty gone to claim land or establish or continue new houses, the Children of the Forest get their peace and land back, which is why the Night King was created in the first place, which is to take what is rightfully theirs, and now as everything is crumbling, they've waited years to get to this point and finally will have it.

So, if this happens, I would be very satisfied overall with the series despite the garbage writing. Also, I remember GRRM mentioning he spoonfed D&D the ending of ASOIAF and even though they've deviated from the books, it all has to come down to the ending he wanted which will reflect the books apparently. I hope it is along the lines of the above.

    Prediction:

Arya kills Daenerys. Jon somehow dies too.
    Tyrion is king.
    Sansa has the North
    Bron has High Garden, lol.

at that point she was still in the 'dont burn down the city' mode
But she still could've taken down Euron's Iron Fleet. Or at the very least, cripple Cersei's defenses until she could/might return after Winterfell. And given how quickly they've shown travel can be this season, that's like a day-trip for Dany.

I'm sure D&D can come up with some dumb excuse to justify their poor writing. It's funny that they will be involved with future Star Wars production. This season of GOT reminds me of the Last Jedi, full of WTF moments.

I'll be the first to say it. This finale was one of the worst endings to a TV show that I've ever seen.

    ... Lost? Seinfeld? Dexter? Sopranos?

Underwhelming, but pretty much what I figured.

Not as bad as Dexters ending. But still trash. Lame.

Eh, ending was about what I expected in terms of excitement level.

You can't start anything new with the last show and the (fictional) world has to go on so they had to wrap it up somehow. At least it wasn't the worst episode of the worse season, I'll give it that haha

I didn’t mind it. Tough to end an epic like this.

Arya spin-off might make me keep my HBO sub.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

Pretty good way to end the show. I liked it.

Most of the complaints seem to be from people who are GRRM and his books fans. I was introduced to GoT through the show, and after a season or two decided to go back and read the books. They were, by and large, un-readable trash and I only made it halfway through the first.

GRRM was a weird (and frankly juvenile) stream-of-consciousness writer that didn't have much of an idea about how a story works, and just invented cool characters, cool places, and fun events. But long term that doesn't work and isn't really satisfying. The showrunners had a tough task to take a bunch of GRRMs random threads and turn them into an actual story with a beginning, a a middle and an end.

So fucking stupid and senseless. So John kills Danny...but he’s the true King anyway so shouldn’t that be considered as him taking his rightful place by eliminating the competitor anyway?! But he gets banishment. Fucking Greyworm who’s a soldier gets so much say that he can control the outcome of John who is the true king of the 7 kingdoms’ faster? Dragon clearly sees what’s happens and is pissed but yet for some reason let’s John live. What an absolute crock of shit. Reminds me of how shitty of an ending Sopranos was.
