Really, people shouldn't be reading a thread created specifically for discussing GoT 3 years after the show began expecting zero spoilers. If someone isn't up to date, it's pretty easy not to look at the thread until you are caught up. If they are 3 seasons behind and click on this thread, that's their choice. There are tons of spoilers here. If they can't resist, it's also super easy to just view the first page or 2 rather than the most recent posts.

I never click on these sort of threads until I'm caught up. Same with threads about movies. Once I see it, then I can join the discussion with no spoiler worries.

I don't think the end of the trial is really that shocking compared to some of the surprises still left in book 3 coming up. There are two specifically involving characters the audience are way more vested in that I think people are going to shit bricks over. Looks like they both won't be until the final two episodes though at this rate. But it does look like they are going to try and fit a ton into the last few episodes and the last three specifically should be very good.

I'm thinking an escape with the added bonus of joining an anti-Lannister crew.

Really wish i hadn't read the books (though the books are awesome). Knew what was going to happen last episode (and the finale of last season, etc etc), and while done well, would have liked the surprise part of it a lot more. Glad there was no book for Breaking Bad

Deadwood is amazing, it's hbo at its finest. A lot of people are turned off by the fact it's a western, but it has some of the best dialogue and acting of any hbo show (and hell on wheels rips it off entirely)
