    Does anyboy know what the new 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege runs on the quarter mile?

    yah... not that incredibly fast.
    heard the tranny can't handle that much either tho - so upgradeability ain't that great

    but in terms of looks

    I've had zero problems with my drivetrain........and I run slightly better times than 15.9

    I thought P5 is now replaced with Mazda 3 GT?

    Mazda 3 is a much better car anyway with 2.3L 160HP. Higher potential for mods. Interior is awesome to boot!

    Yeah, which means the drivetrains in the MSP's are good for more power

    There was one in Edmonton running 16.4

    Yes the Mazda 3 is a nice car, but compared to the MSP for modding, it's always nicer to start out WITH a factory FI car.
    What kind of potential are you talking about

    haah ok just checkin cuase some guy told me he ran a 13.9 with a injen air intake with his civic sir and im like.. fuckin bullshit.. he said it was cuase of the "close gear ratio".. haha
