I was luckily enough to snag a 32 gb one from MemEx last week.
What are some apps you guys currently use?
Current I am using Dolphin HD for web browsing and Google Earth is pretty slick on this.
Still looking for a good ebook reader.

Saw 1 at shawnessy staples this afternoon.
Also, theres a couple people selling eepads on kijiji.
Can you stream tv shows with this thing (flash) using sites like megavideo, videobb etc?
Got on the waiting list for MemEx.. might drop by a Staples this week to see if I can pick one up though.
Has anyone compared the tf101 to the iconia... Was looking at the iconia since it's a bit easier to get your hands on..
99 Suzuki Katana 600
97 Subaru Legacy Wagon
95 Subaru WRX STi JDM tyte
From the reviews I've read,
- The Iconia's screen isn't as good (although the difference is slight)
- It's a bit heavier
- It doesn't have its own office suites
There maybe more differences but these are the ones I've remembered.
You think it's possible to put office style apps on the iconia?

probably, but i think the biggest selling feature of the eee pad is the dock/keyboard... it's unique right now... if i were you i'd try to find an eee, and if you cant find it before the galaxy 10.1 is released then pick that up, but imo the acer is not really a strong alternative.

Not sure.. I'm actually looking for more reviews and feedback from users to see if they can put some kind of office suites on it because it's one of the main selling points for me.
Asus just said they're ramping up the production and shipping in the coming weeks to meet the demands, so hopefully I'll get mine soon.
Couldnt find any Asus pads anywhere in stock so I opted for the Acer. Its pretty good, using it to type this message actually. So far I am very pleased with it. The fact that it has a fully equipped USB port is a big bonus. Streaming videos work well along with sites like megavideo. I loe watching shows through icefilms and this definitely does the job.

Was fortunate enough to grab an EEE Pad last night from Dalhousie Memex but upon taking it out I found several specks of something under the glass.
Neither of the 2 my friend picked up have any problem like this though, so here's hoping the one I get from the next shipment is clean!
I was really enjoying it until I discovered the crap under the glass.

ahh yes, don't know how I missed it on the first page.. thanks.
Is there any video lag/audio sync issues? Im interested to know what the performance is like. Do you have to download the content before watching it or can you just stream it? For those of you with the asus transformer have you guys tried watching content on a website like icefilms?Originally posted by Joe-G
