    it's weird that they dont hype this thing locally, even the playbook got lots of marketing in newspapers i found.

    it's probably because the playbook is actually out... and has stock, this thing is like the wii, they wont need to advertise and i am sure there will be stock shortages for some time.

    Revel in the fact they're screwing their customers again.

    Seriously though, if they don't care enough to have their SD card reader working in time for launch I don't think they care if they're being undercut by a superior product.

    So Im thinking of buying the 16gb version. Not sure why you want the 32 with the MicroSD slot that is going to be working from day 1.

    All I'm going to need is 16gb with the ability to swap cards whenever I need to have something else on it. Can't wait should be a solid device and the android system is coming along in leaps and bounds these days.

    Went to staples and the guy gave me a WTF look when I asked him about it. All over the Asus EEE FB page there are complaints that no one knows it is coming out. Only one guy (in the US) was able to confirm with Best Buy they get a shipment tonight.

    I wrote on the page asking for clarification.

    Also stopped by futureshop in Coventry to play with the xoom. If this thing turns into a FT-86/Duke Nukem scenario I will pick one of those up. Slick unit.
