Default Asus EEE Transformer/Slider And now, Transformer PRIME

Who is getting one of these when they come out? i think i'll be first in line, they look impressive spec wise, battery life with the dock thing is amazing, and best of all, the price.

About time someone else used a decent display panel in their tablets. The Xoom's shitty viewing angles are so prevalent when reading a book, for instance.

Not to bad at all. Are they planning on releasing a cellular version as well?

This thing looks great, and its $100 below the low end iPad 2 but actually has an ips display.

Shit, when do they expect to bring them out? I thought the Slate was their answer to the iPad, which was more than I wanted to spend so I ended up getting refurbed iPad.

The USB port alone makes it worth it for me.

the slate was more of a product on it's own, had a full blown windows 7 OS plus hardware specs that were actually closest to the laptop but it suffered in size and price. I was looking at the slate too but it's not really as convenient as the other tablets as it's a few inches thicker, if they were able to get the windows 7 OS onto a device the size of the Ipad then it would be a game changer!

That is actually perfect for my day to day needs! To be honest I didn't even hear about this until now. It sounds like it will be great considering it has a nice screen and good battery life, something that has been lacking in the competitors.

you could check out the viewsonic, it looks decent, and is dual boot windows and android.

the problem is as soon as you say the word windows you can instantly tack $100 on to the price for the OS license.

I will pick one of these up for sure. I was actually considering that Dell that is a laptop/tablet with the flip screen but it seems more of a laptop then I want.

looking at the acer iconic looks very nice, but no IPS screen, and shorter batter life

however i do like the idea of Windows 7 on there, but it looks like that increases the price by $100

Also the eee pad TF101, not even released in NA yet, has been rooted maybe we can put w7 on this thing afterall
