If you can find the video player name that will be super helpful. I will update FB tonight when i get home and see if it helps me.Originally posted by hampstor
There was an update to the Facebook App yesterday - once I downloaded it the FC's stopped occuring.
I found a new DLNA player last night that ended up playing all my movies just fine. It started with an S (Skilla or something weird like that?). I can't exactly check what it was...
I had it on my desk this morning and was browsing beyond on it. I then went to get a coffee, came back, and it wouldn't come out of the hibernate/sleep. I held down the power button to restart it and when it restarted, all my user data was wiped.
You are having a weird locking up issue. Maybe has to go back?

anyone find a place locally with stock?
Search "DLNA" in the marketplace. The logo is a grey 16 point star (or something like that).Originally posted by Cos

I'm sending mine back for refund and will ask to be notified when more come in. Hopefully they don't simply rebox it and sell it to someone else.
From what i've seen, they completely sold out in North America and I haven't heard of any ETA for the next shipment.Originally posted by maxwinedog

In the address bar in the browser trying entering "about:debug" and hit go. Be sure to erase the 'http://www.' that the browser likes to leave in the address bar for you. No page will load and you may or may not get a pop-up message 'Debug mode'. But if you now go to Menu > More > Settings in the browser and scroll to the bottom of the list, you should see a new group of options under the 'Debug' heading. The bottom setting is 'UAString' and if selected will give you the option of enabling your browser to identify itself as Android, Desktop or iPhone.
Select desktop then try to go to facebook.com.
YMMV, this MAY work for you. I know it worked on previous android browsers.

I am surprised you guy's are having all these crashes. My Xoom hasn't crashed once since i got it(facebook works perfect). These tablets are running the same honeycomb right?
Also, i heard there was a Honeycomb update tomorrow. Just read about it on Androidlife. So hopefuly it will fix some issues.
Is Asus tablet a full Google experience?
Got mine today. So far, I think it's a keeper but definitely some bugs to work out.
Shazam won't install for me, setup says try again later?

mine hasn't crashed on me... i dont know if it's "full android" i really done know what honeycomb is supposed to look like, it may be skinned, but it's very nice either way.
edit: based on the pictures i found while looking at google images... it looks like it's just naked honeycomb, with a few preinstalled apps.

Mobo player seems to be the best on board player so far,Rockplayer came in 2nd.
I used Mobo player on my Android phone. Very good on board player. Have my Transformer on the way for Monday. Going to try and get VLC free to work like Air Video for the Ipad.
