I don't have the Playbook. I bought it for my dad to use it in Europe. He actually used it for couple days over there and sold it double what I paid
He was not that happy with the playbook. I think he Said that he couldn't recieve his e-mails, also he said he had to restard the playbook often because it would freeze on him. When he comes back he wants to buy the iPad 2.
With my self i really don't have a Favorite. I am more of a gadget guy than anything else. But if you ask me which tablet I use the most? The answer would be the xoom. I really like the honeycomb and see lot of potential with it in the near future. With iPad, you get reliability, smooth and fast operating system and excellent apps.
So in my bedroom I use the iPad to browse the web and listen to some Internet radio. But for my meetings and work I bring my XOOM.
Cheers,

I was wanting to try out a xoom but couldnt forgive how washed out the screens are compared to pb and ipad. And after playing with the stores, it was just too choppy, buggy and laggy for my tastes.
It is laggy at the store because they don't restart it. People play around with it and put lot of stuff on it that slows down the machine. Xoom is like a PC it needs be restated once In a while to run smooth.Originally posted by maxwinedog

I've had mine for about a week and a half. The things I like about it are:
-ability to play flash on websites
-connectivity to my google account for mail, documents, contacts, calendar and reader
-the browser and its ability to use tabs
-the wide screen
-the email app is so much better than the iPad
-lots of free apps on android market
What I miss about an iPad is:
-the familiarity of it in terms of apps/layout
-connectivity to iTunes
The Asus Transformer has none of these lag issues. It seems to be a much better tablet even though its almost the same hardware. Plus it has an IPS display with a higher resolution than the ipad.Originally posted by maxwinedog

IPS is a display technology which allows for much wider viewing angles. It's more expensive, so many manufacturers don't use it, but it's definitely worth it, especially if you use your tablet in portrait mode frequently (I do) because the entire screen will be viewable, as opposed to parts looking washed out and showing a moire pattern.Originally posted by ExtraSlow
