"Unsubscribe to this thread" link doesn't work

I get those two dozen emails per day telling me that someone has made a post here. At the bottom of those emails there is this, i've replaced the URLs with LINK #x:

To unsubscribe from ALL threads, please visit this page:
(LINK #2)

I want to unsubscribe specific threads.

So I click LINK #1 and a window with the beyond interface opens and asks me to login to beyond. I login, and all it does is reopens my email service in a new tab/window!! As far as I can tell it's not working. If it's working shouldn't there be a confirmation saying I have unsubscribed?? Any idea whats going on?

User CP - > Subscribed Thread -> Click unsubscribe on the threads you no longer want.

Edit: I just tried the email unsubscribe link as well, and it works fine. There's no confirmation, but it works.
