After just watching the movie unstoppable this is equally as dumb.

How did this tractor become unmanned

York Region PD is there. Other forums are identifying it as the Walmart on High Tech Rd in Richmond Hill, ON.

I was surprised the guy was able to jump on the running board.. that had been my first thought, but those rear wheels are a little too close for comfort.

At least 2 or 3 times I figured the building was going to stop it, but the light standard will do just as well.

With the kind of torque one of those tractors has, one cop car wasn't going to be able to get in front of it and bring it to a halt. I think they were going to try with both of them just before the post helped out.

The person at the end that jumped in was he a fireman? Or the owner of the tractor?

that tractor was going slow enough to jump on it easily.

I used to pick up round hay bales alone. pick up all hay bales in a section stick the front end loader in second gear, point it at another section of hay bales, drive the bale wagon to new section, jump into loader when it finally arrives at new section. repeat.

driving tractors in deep rut row crops pretty well drove themselves. I usually jumped out to take a piss, ran to catch up with it and keep driving.

It's probably a good thing that I don't live on a farm anymore, I'd probably kill myself doing stupid shit.

hahaha, dude I'm pretty sure that was a little kid....

I am definitely surprised at the way they handled it, you'd think they would have tried pinching it against the wall or something, thats what I would have done, then hopefully the friction of the wall and the car could stop it breifly, or at the very least try to direct it straight at the wall to stop it.

i was most waiting for it to smash into the walmart as the width of the circles slowly increased, damned cars in the way.

but if my car was there during the beginning stages, i would've definitely gone to move it, it was so far away, did like 6-7 circles before it even hit once.
