    Default iTunes fixer help?

Looking for a program that works good to remove duplicates and also fix the messed up song labels.

or simple delete your library and reload it (would take several hours)

I cracked the Tidyfiles and it sucked a big one. It kept trying to change properly labelled tracks tO ones that are way off... And the duplicate finder is there but didn't work.

Yes I already did that and it was a pain in the ass deleting 700
    Duplicates manually.

My main problem now is lots of the tags are 4 letters with random characters like mdjs skdi etc for the song name. I need something to fix these. I would do it by hand but I have 10000 songs

Right click on the file and edit the properties.
Its a pain in the ass to do but once there all done then you wont have to worry about it.
I did all my songs back in JR High and kept at it until now. All my songs labels and info are correct down to the album art.

After you finish the bulk of it just fix all the new songs info before you put them into your music file for itunes. A program to edit all the songs info would have to know literally every genre of music to do such a thing.

You could always give MusicBrainz a try, but it has flaky results. You do realise that in the time this thread has been running, you could have done it manually?

Once you finally get your library organised, keep it that way. I have well over 30k songs, all of which are correctly tagged (title, artist, album, year, genre, track number, etc) with album artwork. It isn't difficult.
