which is faster a b18b turbo vs a b16a turbo (same turbo kits)

Depends, some say there's no replacement for displacement. Others believe in the high revving little engines.

Ohhhh, wait, it's a B18b. that's second gen integra. dude for a second i thought we were talking b18c. like from a integra type r. 180 Hp.

go with the b16, better efficiency. It's got higher flowing heads than a b18c. Plus stock hp 160 vs. 18b's 140.

on pump gas b18b is WAAAY faster. This has been proven.

I tuned rseven's B16A turbo CRX (light!) and it posted a 13.4 in edmonton.

I tuned legendboy's B18B turbo Integra (400lbs more) and it posted a 13.1 in calgary with a LOT of wheelspin.

CRX = 107mph, Integra = 111mph.

B18B wins! No replacement for displacement!

Unless the turbos were wildly different in efficiency, the results won't vary that much on pump gas.

hehe I've ran with both cars. I know how they pull . That integra pulls on me HARD. I mapped both cars on the dyno, I know where the knock limit is. and the difference in TQ and HP.

Anyways, dug up the dynojet numbers of both cars. The B16a turbo maxxed out on 94 octane ran 250whp. The B18b turbo maxxed out on 94 octane ran 304whp. If we ran the same turbo/manifold on the B16a, we would've seen a difference of +/- 10hp.

Start tuning your car on pump gas then tell me that again . If you seriously think that's the case, click SEARCH and look for the last displacement debate and do your homework.

Tell me, what "technology" can I add to these 2 cars to get a LOT more hp on these 2 car's setup on pump gas???
