Sigh..... this has been discussed over and over again.

The HID "Kits" don't project the beam properly. Don't bother, unless you are getting a HID-specific housing.

    GT HID

I bought them for my civic like 7 years ago...before I knew better. It will work, but without the proper projector housing, you will be blinding everyone horribly.
They are really good HID's though

    I wonder that as well.

My '04 Cadillac Escalade comes with HID's but there's no apparent projectors.

    They are HID specific reflectors.

I didn't know that, thanks. With the way people talk about HIDs + reflectors I always thought reflectors are bad

I wouldn't go for it, just got back in calgary and seriously every 15th car or so has advanced futuristic ballin BLUE headlights blinding the **** out of me...Seriously HIDs in halogen housings looks like the welfare check just came through. The worst offenders are VW drivers, pickup owners, and 20+yo sedans.

Flashing the high-beams just provokes a "that's not a knife" response where they flash THEIR high beams...toads

What do you drive? That would make it easier to find correct parts.

Also, please be sure to make sure to get a full HID kit, which includes all three main components. (1) the HID bulb, (2) the HID ballast, and (3) the HID optics/projector.

If you only get 1 and 2, most people will want to smack you. Hard. Don't be a ricer please

HIDs work well when used with halogen projectors... Just halogen reflectors scatter the beam everywhere.

Halogen is for halogen. halogen is bright in one spot as hid are over an arc.

    Get HID projectors.
