^^ agreed... I'm a huge honda fanboy.
I've had 3 Preludes (86, 92, 01) 2 S2000s (01 and 08 CR) but I don't see them coming out with anything great for a while.
I'm currently searching for a 08 BB S2K.

I left honda a couple times but keep coming back.
I have/had a 2 1.6 acura EL, 97 civic, 2007 civic lx, 2008 boosted civic si, 2004 rsx type s, 2003 crv, 2011 crv, 2000 s2000, 2002 s2000, 2004 s2000, 2008 s2000.
I've owned faster cars but I keep coming back to honda. (almost everything is faster haha) There's something about them that I love But mostly it's the s2000 that I love hahaha

CR is stiffer and less comfortable... but I didn't find it that bad. The CR was mostly weekends and the AP1 was a DD.Originally posted by Onassis

I drove the CR across country, it really isn't that bad, but you really have to be a fanboy to do something like that.
I went from Honda to BMW then Audi... then back to Honda.Originally posted by 4doorj

interesting to see all te recent love for the S2000. A few years back, a lot on here were bashing it. It still has no Tq., noisy, cramped, harsh ride, and is still a honduh

I've never had the pleasure to even ride in a S2k. This may sound like a dumb question to most of you guys familiar to these cars, but how do they compare to a MX5? Seems to me they should be pretty closely matched in most areas. Im sure there must be somthing superior in a S2k because there does not seem to be any MX5 fans here. I'm curious because i drove a 08 MX5 last summer that was a absolute blast to drive, i just want to know how a S2k compares
so you guys find the ride quality pretty bad in a s2000?
S2K has more power and stiffer suspension compared to an MX5.
Beyond has the worst case of group think in history...Originally posted by SilverStreak

If you are still deciding between a corvette and a S2000 PM richardchan2002. He went from a AP1 S2000 to a C6 Vette and probably can give you his opinion on both cars since he's owned them both.Originally posted by InRich

minus the lack of torque the fact that it's cramped, harsh and noisy is what I would like about it hehe.Originally posted by SilverStreak

People who say it has bad ride quality probably haven't driven many sports cars or used coil overs. Or they prefer comfier rides.Originally posted by InRich

It's definetely a very firm, mechanical feeling but it is not at all unbearable if you know what to expect. Even getting a set of coilovers can help with the dampering if you're looking for something softer.
A2VR6's s2000 rides very smoothly on the roads with KWV3s. Probably smoother than stock.
Found a white CR with factory hard top in Ventura CA. Gonna fly down this weekend to take a look at it... Wish me luck guys.
