Ya i saw a add about this and was wondering the same thing. Wonder if you get raped like with wind for going out of the service zone?
from what i know you wont, because they have a security feature that deals with it
My friend was looking into this and what I found interesting is that there was an option to pay for each year of your contract up front for a ~33% savings.
I have no idea what coverage or anything is like but it seemed to be super cheap.
Anyone know if I can port my telephone number if I have an existing contract? I'd have someone take over and get a new phone number, but I'd want to keep my own?

Pricing is similar to WIND @ $45. $55 if you want unlimited long distance.
At least from the coverage map, it looks better than WIND in the Hamptons area (further out instead being @ the edge of coverage as WIND told me). With WIND can do dick all about my issue, I may give Moblicity a try.

^ this review was actually ok if u read on lol
EDIT:
EDIT2: unlimited is actually unlimited with mobilicityicemasta
OP Mobilicity does not cap your voice or data usage.
While Wind has a fair usage policy for long distance but for their data its not capped at 5GB, its that they may throttle you after 5GB....

Some posts are troll posts. If Rogers gives me that $50 plan, I won't even bother with WIND.Originally posted by flamboyant

Looks like WIND pricing changed again in May. More in-line with Mobilicity.

i hear mobilicity is better than wind,
coverage, network, no capping
we have both here in Vancouver, and the only thing mobilicity is better at, if anything, is pricing over wind
both companies suck majorly in terms of reception. i wouldn't use this as a main line at all if your phone calls are important. many sketchy ppl like these services because apparently they require no credit check or contracts etc. i absolutely hate calling ppl on both these companies because i can't reach them half the time.
it depends on what areas you frequent and the reception in those areas. one friend has full bars in his high rise, another friend gets 1 bar to none in his basement suite. As I was walking through the mall one day, my friend showed me his samsung phone (on mobilicity) and how it just loses reception, and needs to be rebooted to quickly get reception back.
Calgarys mobilicity coverage is much better than other cities.
Marlborough and Westbrook Malls are giving away a free bluetooth and car charger with every activation.
If your not happy with the service there is a 7 day money back guarantee.
Also: You can port your number from any carrier over to Mobilicity. Just bring your account # with you.
I am waiting for them to get the Nexus S in stock before I pull the trigger with them for a second line. I have heard some pretty good things about them on HF. I will post back with my results.
Looking forward to this review.Originally posted by sneek

I might sign up for the $25 monthly plan just to see if they cover all the places I need in calgary
From what I've heard, Mobilicity has had some fairly bad reviews in other cities. Calgary is still relatively new, and Wind is always increasing coverage. The only place I ever really have lost coverage was deep in the basement of the D wing at SAIT and in my basement at times. Everywhere else it's been strong. Then again, I live in the shallow NW, and most of my travel is to the shallow South, so I'm in the areas of highest tower density.
I got Nexus S with them and couldnt connect to their network for 3 days since launch. I returned it and cancelled their service.
you coulda have tried a exchange, my nexus s connected fine but my friends same thing like you didnt connect, so he just exchanged it for a new one and it worked fine

Bought a Nexus S from the Sunridge location yesterday with the $45 plan. I only had coverage in the mall and when I drove 2km away I was at 1 bar to "emergency calls only". Drove to my cousin house on 34 St SE, and I only got "emergency calls only". I was like wtf? Whatever, the dealer guaranteed that I would have coverage at home (monterey park) and my work on 130 Ave SE. When I got home I was put on "CDN Roaming" that would mean all my calls would cost me 20 cents per minute..? I thought it was a glitch so I restarted the phone. I had "no signal" for an hour or so, then I was put back on "CDN Roaming". The dealer and tech support couldn't help me out, and at this point I'm pretty much fed up with them now, and going to cancel soon. Maybe they would get better in the near future, but right now, their coverage sucks
