Default Where to get zipper parts in Calgary?

The slider for my one of my hoodies just broke.. It doesn't hold the piece that you pull from any more.. This is the exact part I need, but I don't want to wait for shipping.

Anyone know a place in town (preferably the North) that sells these zipper parts?

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

There are two places in Calgary where you can buy it.

Inside the Campers Village store on MacLeod Trail S, there is Textile Outfitters which carries all parts for zippers. I've bought zipper pulls from them in the past to repair coats and jackets.

The other location is PacCana Enterprises at 1916 - 27 Ave. NE (http://www.paccana.com). It is the wholesaler who supplies Textile Outfitters. My wife just bought some cordura straps and clips from them to make some dog leashes.

Note that you will not only have to buy the zipper pull but also the small little clip at the top of the zipper to keep the pull in the zipper. It's just pennies but it is one item you have to remove from the zipper in order to replace the pull.

Just came back from PacCana... really happy with the place. They changed the pull for $3 in under 5 minutes. They also sell any type of textile related item imaginable... good to know that place exists. Definitely check it out if you need anything like that!
