My father hastly purchased a late 50's Vespa 150 GS. We tried starting it today and it needs a new battery. I phoned up to Walt Healy and Interstate, no luck sourcing a battery. Was wondering if someone had a secret contact? Thanks in advance.

try napa. If I remember correctly that's where I got the 6 volt one for my 78 honda. Or phone the guys at the old motorcycle shop as they would know where to get one for sure.
A napa part number is a GC2-110
Thank you, I'll have to phone in there tomorrow. Hopefully this thing fires up.

That would make a cool living room piece if you can't get it to start!Originally posted by dino_martini

Or, just get me the OEM number on the battery and I'll get you one.

It didn't even come with a battery unfortunately. Went down the Old Motorcycle Shop (I had no clue places like this existed in Calgary...not a bike guy my self). They have list after list of 6 volt batteries, just need the dimensions and we should have this thing rolling.Originally posted by kevie88
