Default Alternator issue caused by moto battery?

Run a moto battery to get piping through the tray, alternator called it a day this morning, tow truck driver saw the moto battery, said it was probably overworking the alt, didn't seem like the case to me, Eric said probably wasn't it, anyone think there's any truth to it?

From personal experience most tow truck drivers lie about everything. Hopefully I always got a tow from the minority, but hard to believe.

HAhahaha last year I had my car up, when he dropped it to let go he didn't have the E-brake on so the car just started rolling backwards down the street I had to book off after it, open the door and hit the brakes as it was going down the street. Guess that should've been my first clue to not take any advice from Tow drivers.

The last tow driver I had said he tow's 240's all the time. The problem is, 'they all hack away at the bumpers', and you can't put chains through the support things, so he has to lace it through the wheels, which costs more money and then everyone gets mad. He was also saying how all the modded 240's out there are so ugly, and how he wished people would leave them be because they look 'classic'.

I assume he was talking about making way for a fmic when 'hacking away at the bumpers'? I don't have a fmic so I wouldn't know.

Haha I love people who know nothing about electricity. For example I was denied warranty on a battery I bought from walmart because the guy asked me what car it was for, looked it up in the book, and proceeded to tell me the battery i was buying was not for my car and he could sell it to me but with no warranty.
