Back in hell with a DH, I had good success with entangling shot w/ chain gang, and cull the weak along w/ archery and steady aim. The damage just stacks quite nicely. Open with entangling shot which slows the enemies up to 4 at a time and keeps them in roughly the same place. Then alternate between twin chakram and entangling shot until things are dead. You can spam this combo like there's no tommorow. Slowing doesn't really work in Inferno though when kiting elites.

Use spike traps w/ scatter to kite elites and smoke screen w/ preparation thrown in like everyone else.

Those stats should be decent enough to get you to Inferno given judicious use of smoke screen

Going back to the legendary / set drop conversation way back... the wife got a legendary bul kathos wedding band w/ socket over the weekend, and a 2H set item for the monk a few days prior to that.

I'm still personally 200+ hrs without a legendary/set drop

hows your MF on your gears?

I played 130 hrs and have two legends and 1 set

my MF is at around 218%

I've played 75(ish) hours, and only just got to Inferno, lol. I did hit level 60 early in A2 Hell mode though. Is it just me, or is there not enough levels? I shouldn't be hitting 60 until the end of Hell mode.

Gotten 3 Legendaries, none of them lvl 60+ though. I did find a blue one today that might be decent? I'm not a Witch Doctor though, so I'm not sure

Really nice stats but damage is a little low. You might be able to sell it for 50-100k.

Basically any ceremonial knife will come with mana regen (which is awesome), and then after that attack speed, open socket (or crit damage %), intel and life on hit are all good stats.

is getting whimsyshire worth it? Im almost in act IV nightmare and am contemplating going back to normal to gather stuff to farm.

Just get to inferno haha. Any upgrades you can find easily on the AH for dirt cheap... or just get a few items with sockets and put gems in there, makes a HUGE difference.

I doubt you would get anything. I tried selling a 5xx dps bow with great stats and couldn't sell it so I vendored it. Doesn't hurt to try though. I didn't go down to 10k though so maybe that may work.

Good lvl 60 items are 900+dps and great is 1000+ for one handers. Higher for 2 handers of course.

There is a huge jump from 59-60. If that knife was 59 then you would have something.

I'm trying to get that stupid staff but it seems like I need the original plans from the Izual (sp) guy in normal mode. I bought the plans when they were 1 gold either in nightmare or inferno but I need the staff first to upgrade it!

Both the woman and myself don't run any significant amount of MF (~15%) other than stacks.

On a happier note, with the DH reconfigured to 25k HP 20k DPS w/o SS ~300 resist all and 45 discipline. I did manage to get past A Royal Audience dying once. The snakes after that ambush in the dash to the sewer was fairly simple. Now onwards to Zolten Kulle again.

Started a WD with the wife last night to take a break from getting our asses kicked in Act 2 Inferno, and got to lvl 10. I can totally see this char being tough to play. Why does the primary attack cost mana?!! I actually made 5k gold with this guy last night. That'll pay for a repair from the DH and barb haha. Running around with 6 zombie dogs is hilarious, and shit tons of spiders everywhere!! I can't decide if this is a ranged guy, or more of a melee guy yet. The range on firebats is pretty pathetic.

The whole mana system is a bit broken. WD is a hybrid class. Lots of melee-ish range spells, lots of ranged ones too, CC and pets (who become absolutely useless in Inferno). Wait until you get Dire Bats rune, it'll be your most used spell until you start using zombie chargers.

It is based on Lvl 60 as far as I've experienced. It may have been changed im not sure!
